JL Rear Bumper Installation Prep:
Remove the bumpers harness by gently
prying on all tie wrap fasteners and dis-
connecting the license plate light. (FIG 7)
Bumper harness without backup sensors
shown. (FIG 8) This bumper is not
designed to work with backup sensors.
Retain harness for use with optional
license plate light (#12066 1100)
Install the license plate mount to the
bumper using two M6 screws, two
washers and two nuts. (FIG 9) The
license plate will be installed with
the remaining M6 hardware.
On the passenger side insert the
supplied M14 nut plate into the frame
rail. (FIG 10) Align the threaded holes
in the nut plate with the holes in the
frame on the bottom.
