MAINTENANCE VEHICLE
6.1 GENERAL
To maintain your vehicle in a safe and reliable condition, the maintenance and adjustments outlined in this section must be
carried out in line with the scheduled maintenance chart.
Special tools, knowledge and training are required in order to correctly carry out the mainte-
nance items listed in the scheduled maintenance chart.
Only an authorised service centre or dealer will have this knowledge and equipment.
All maintenance operations must be performed with the engine off, with the vehicle resting on its centre
stand and with the parking brake engaged.
Do not neglect maintenance as the efficiency and longevity of your vehicle strictly depend on how it is
being maintained.
All maintenance operations, with the exception of idle adjustments, must be carried out with the vehicle
in a stationary position. Make sure no one interferes during idle adjustment.
When performing maintenance operations you must strictly follow the safety instructions outlined in paragraph
«6.2 Safety instructions for maintenance»
All controls and devices must be checked after any maintenance operation.
