VEHICLE STORAGE GUIDE
7.1 VEHICLE INACTIVITY
In the event that the vehicle is not going to be ridden for a long period of time, such as during winter, or for any other rea-
son, special precautions requiring suitable knowledge, tools and equipment must be observed. For this reason, QUADRO
recommends that these operations are performed by an authorised service centre. If this is not possible, please follow the
instructions provided below.
VEHICLE
Clean the vehicle thoroughly and rest it on its centre stand on level ground, ensuring that it is sufficiently stable. Release
the parking brake using the lever in order to prevent any damage to the tilting mechanism as a result of the tensions within
the system. Turn the handlebar fully to the left, then rotate the ignition key to the lock position and remove it from the switch.
FUEL
Fill the fuel tank with the correct grade of unleaded fuel and add a fuel stabiliser, following the fuel stabilisermanufacturer’s
instructions.
Petrol (fuel) is highly flammable and explosive. Handling fuel is highly dangerous and may result in
injuries or even death. Store the vehicle in a well ventilated area. Seal the container immediately after
handling petrol. Ensure that there are no fuel leaks during refuelling. Petrol vapours and / or any leaks
could ignite. Immediately clean the entire area. Store fuel away from sources of heat and fire or sparks
