DISMANTLING AND DISPOSAL
8.1 VEHICLE DISMANTLING AND DISPOSAL
All dismantling operations carried out on the vehicle must be compatible and should strictly follow the
operator’s safety regulations.
Before setting out to perform any dismantling operation you must ensure that any
item that might cause injuries is safely put away and that you must wear protecti-
ve clothes, gloves and safety shoes. You must also be in good health and are not
under the influence of alcohol or any other drugs.
This vehicle has been manufactured using recyclable metals (frame, engine, wheel rims, mechanisms, etc.) and plastics
(fibreglass, seals, tyres, etc.) that do not require special treatments for their disposal.
When dismantling the vehicle, plastic parts should be nonetheless separated from ferrous materials so as to send them to
different waste collections in compliance with the regulations in the country where the vehicle is used.
As for the metal parts of the vehicle, it is sufficient to divide between steel and other metals or alloys for their proper delivery
to melting recycling.
Disposal of vehicle components must be done respecting the environment, avoiding pollu-
tion of soil, water and air and in compliance with the regulations in force.
We remind you that the disposal of vehicle components and polluting substances must be carried out
in accordance with the law.
You are responsible for keeping up with the regulations concerning the disposal of harmful substances
in accordance with the law.
When disposing of the vehicle, the user is obliged to destroy all identification plates and relative docu-
mentation.
