Why won't my Qualcast Lawn and Garden Equipment engine start?
    • K
      Karen RobertsAug 2, 2025
If your Qualcast Lawn and Garden Equipment engine won't start, several factors could be the cause. First, ensure the fuel tank isn't empty by filling it with fuel. Check that the throttle is properly set. Make sure the ignition cable plug is firmly attached; if not, push it on tightly. Also, inspect the ignition cable plug for dirt and clean it if necessary. If there's excess fuel in the combustion chamber, remove the spark plug, dry off the electrode, and start at full throttle. Clean the spark plug if it's dirty. Verify the distance between the spark plug electrodes, setting the gap to 0.7 to 0.8 mm if it's too large. If you've used the wrong fuel, drain the tank and refill it with the correct fuel. Finally, the spark plug may be defective, so consider replacing it.

Why is my Qualcast Lawn and Garden Equipment engine not reaching full speed?
    • K
      Karen BarnettAug 13, 2025
If your Qualcast Lawn and Garden Equipment engine isn't reaching its maximum speed, consider these potential causes: A dirty air filter could be restricting airflow, so try cleaning the air filter. A dirty spark plug can also affect performance, so clean the spark plug. Check the electrode separation of the spark plug and set the gap to 0.7 to 0.8 mm if it's too large. Using the wrong fuel can also hinder the engine's performance, so drain the tank and refill with the correct fuel.
