Inspect panel knobs, cell holder, O-ring, fittings, and tubing for proper function and cleanliness.

5.2. POWER CHECKS

Perform continuity tests on AC input terminals and chassis ground with power off.

5.3. ALIGNMENTS

Adjust digital panel meter for bright display, smooth changes, and zero reading.

5.4. LEAK TEST

Procedure to purge the instrument with helium to remove contaminants before testing.

5.5. CALIBRATION

Install sample cell and perform purge routine before calibration.

5.6 SMALL SPHERE RUN

Execute the small sphere run procedure for sample volume determination.

5.7 VCf MICRO CALIBRATION ( 2.145 cc, TWO MICRO SPHERES )

Perform VCf calibration for the micro cell with two micro spheres.

5.8 CALCULATION OF VR MICRO AND VC MICRO VOLUMES

Calculate VR and VC volumes for the micro cell using calibration data.

5.9 MICRO SPHERE RUN

Execute the micro sphere run procedure for sample volume determination.
