SYMPTOMS AND SOLUTIONS
Iigh air discharge temperature.
Correct the situation in accordance with the
instructions in the “High Discharge Air
Temperature and/or High Fluid Injection
Temfierature” section of this trouble shooting
guide. Restart the vacuum pump,
:hermal overload relays tripping.
Correct the cause of the overloaded condition.
‘ower failure. Check power supply.
%ulty HAT switch.
Contact a quahfied serviceman for repairs.
.oose wire connections.
ICheck all wiring terminals for contact and
tightness.
?aulty control relay.
/Replace as necessary.
THERMAL OVERLOADED RELAYS TRIPPING
PROBABLE CAUSE SYMPTOMS AND SOLUTIONS
Excessive discharge pressure.
Check exhaust piping for restrictions. Check
separator element for condition.
Low voltage.
Check vokage and amperages while operating
the unit at till load and fill m-essure.
‘Loose overload connection.
\Tighten mounting screws on “Thermal
Overload”.
Phase Fault.
Could be caused by low voltage, phase
unbrdance, or loss of phase. This maybe an
intermittent problem and you may only need to
press the “Start” button to resum-e operation.
But if problem repeats, the power company will
need to check the incoming power.

Incorrect thermal overload relay setting.
Check motor name plate and compare to
overload relay setting.
Faulty motor.
Remove and have tested at motor manufacturer
