    If the QVI Scanner's Cobra unit isn't powering up, there are several things to check: * Ensure the main power is on. * Verify the Cobra power cord is securely plugged into both the Cobra back panel and the main power source. * Try a different wall outlet or repair the current one, ensuring it meets the system's power needs. Also, reset the circuit breaker. * Test the power cord by swapping it with a known good one. * Confirm the parallel port is set to 'bi-directional' and properly designated as described in Section 2.
