BUYING FERTILIZED EGGS
To get good incubation results, the bought eggs must be fresh. Best practice is to buy these eggs from a breeder.
It is preferable that the eggs are marked with the laying date so that you may choose eggs laid in the same week.
The older is the egg, the poorer the incubation results. It is advisable to buy eggs laid by a local hen, fertilized by
a rooster from the neighbourhood.
