Dedicated RCD Safety Circuit:
The heater is fitted with a high limit safety circuit which must be
connected a dedicated RCD and circuit breaker (see Fig.18).
The Safety Circuit is constantly monitoring flow tube temperature.
Air pockets, incrustation, debris build up or faulty components can
be a reason for a sudden rise of temperature inside the flow tube. To
protect heating elements and other components the Safety Circuit
will trigger RCD and shut down the power to the heater.
Fig 14.
Safety Circuit MUST BE TESTED FREQUENLY same as for the
RCD by pressing the Test Button on the Heater and RCD (see
Fig.14)
Note: The Safety Circuit is fitted with a TEST BUTTON which must be
tested after completing installation of the heater to confirm its
correct operation. When pressed RCD should instantly trip and cut
the power to the unit.
