Note: When choosing a location for your ladder make sure there is enough room to raise and lower the ladder. All obstruc-
tions and people should be moved out of the way when raising or lowering.
WARNING
All ceiling mounted parts are to be fixed to a ceiling joist only.

x1 Pulley/Rope/Strap
assembly
x1 Two-piece Pulley
assembly cover
x1 Rope cleat
x3 Lag screws
x4 Phillips screws

Mark the location for the J-hook on a ceiling joist.
The J-hook must be secured to the joist with 2 or 3
screws as shown. Pre-drill 3/16 in. pilot holes into
the ceiling joist and fasten the J-hook with provided
screws.

Mark J-hook Location

Mark location on ceiling joist, pre-drill pilot holes, and fasten J-hook with screws.

Mount Pulley Assembly

Measure distance, pre-drill pilot holes, and fasten pulley assembly to ceiling joist.

Install Pulley Covers and Rope Cleat

Snap cover halves together and mount the rope cleat to the wall for excess rope.

Ladder Operation Guide

Raising the Ladder

Lift ladder onto J-hook, wrap strap around bottom rung, and pull rope to raise.

Lowering the Ladder

Pull rope to open lock, then slowly let rope out to lower the ladder safely.
