1. Only hot or cold water from outlet
a. Inlet supplies reversed (i.e. hot supply to cold inlet). Check.
b. No hot water reaching mixing valve. Check.
c. Check lters and inlet ttings for blockage.
d. Installation conditions continuously outside operating parameters. refer to Specication.
2. Fluctuatingorreducedowrate
a. Check lters and inlet / outlet ttings for ow restriction (check isolators are fully open).
b. Ensure that minimum ow rate is sufcient for supply conditions.
c. Ensure that dynamic inlet pressures are nominally balanced.
d. Ensure that inlet temperature differentials are sufcient.
e. Check thermostatic performance; renew cartridge assembly if necessary.
3. Noowfrommixingvalveoutlet
a. Check inlet isolators are fully open.
b. Check lters and inlet / outlet ttings for blockage.
c. Hot or cold supply failure.
4. Blend temperature drift
a. Refer to sympton 2 above.
b. Hot supply temperature uctuation (rectify and refer to Commissioning).
c. Supply pressure uctuation (refer to Installation)
5. Hot water in cold supply or vice versa
Indicates check valve require maintenance, refer to Maintenance.
Note! Some 320 variants are not supplied with checkvalves. Therefore, in-line checkvalves
may require maintenance. These may be away from the product.
6. Maximum blend temperature setting too hot or too cool
a. Indicates incorrect temperature setting. Refer to Commissioning.
b. As sympton 4 above.
c. As sympton 5 above.
7. Water leaking from valve body
Seals worn or damaged.
a. Obtain Seal Pack and renew all seals.
b. If leak persists from around the temperature spindle, replace the cartridge assembly.
