Don't have time to get away? Now you can fish anytime and anywhere
with CASTMASTER BASS FISHIN'! Whether you're on the couch, on a
trip, or on the job, CASTMASTER BASS FISHIN' brings the fun and
excitement of tournament fishing right to you!
FEATURES
ON / NEW GAME - Use this button to turn the game on. Press and
hold this button for 2 seconds to end your current game to bring you
back to the MENU screen.
NOTE: If there is no activity for about 30 seconds, the game will
automatically go into "sleep mode." Press the ON / NEW GAME button
to turn the game on again.
CAST /ENTER/ REEL
Move the Joystick down
to Enter any selection,
or (when Rod and
Reel is attached) cast
out and reel in your line.
LURE - Press up or
down to select a
lure.
LINE - Pull the line to
lock in a direction of a
Cast. Then release the
line as you're casting.
MOVE / LINE IN - When
your fishing line is in, this moves your boat to a different location. When
your line is out, this automatically retrieves your fishing line.
LIVE WELL - This shows you how many fish are currently in your Live
Well.
SOUND - This button toggles the sound between ON and OFF.
RESET - Using a blunt object, press this button to reset the game. Just
be careful, this will erase your current game, Best Catch, Best Rank,
and Best Score.
LEFT / RIGHT (DRAG- / DRAG+) - Use these directions to scroll
through the choices in the Menu. When the game is detached from the
Rod and Reel, use these directions to choose which direction you want
to cast.
When reeling in a fish, move the joystick left or right to place more (+)
or less (-) drag (tension) on the line.
REEL - Turn in a forward motion to reel in your line.
GETTING STARTED
Press and hold the ON / NEW GAME button until the Menu screen
appears. Use the Joystick's left and right directions to scroll through the
four choices. Then move the Joystick down to Enter a selection.
GAME MODES
TROPHY ROOM - By selecting the Trophy Room, use the Left / Right
directions to view your: You can “open” the trophy room once you catch
your 1# fish.
Best Catch - The three largest fish you've caught so far
Best Rank - The best you've ever ranked during a tournament
Best Score - Your highest score in Turbo mode.
RECREATION - This mode just lets you fish for fun.
TOURNAMENT- This mode puts you against other fishermen in a
tournament.
TURBO FISHIN'- This one is a fast-paced game that lets you see how
many fish you can catch in a short period of time.
RECREATION MODE
Using the Left / Right directions, highlight RECREATION in the main
menu. Then move the joystick Down to enter your selection.
You're already given a Lure, but if you wish to pick your own, press the
LURE button, then toggle through the selections by moving the Joystick
Left or Right. Move the Joystick Down to enter your selection.
Any time your Line is in, you may press the MOVE button to move your
boat to a different part of the lake. And keep an eye on the weather.
That will make a difference with your chances of catching anything.
MAKE THAT CAST!
Once you've positioned your boat and chosen a lure, it's time to cast!
Press the Joystick down to go into "cast mode."
