General Safety Information
Concerning the User
• Use of the jetboard is restricted to experienced
swimmers aged 16 or older.
• The jetboard, like any other motorized vehicle,
must be used with great respect and caution. It
is a vehicle, not a toy!
• Individuals with pacemakers are restricted
from using the jetboard. The electric motor and
cables carrying high-currents create a strong
magnetic eld that can severely damage the
pacemaker and consequently result in death.
• Pregnant women are restricted from using the
jetboard. Falling off can cause severe injury to
the abdomen.
• Never use the jetboard while under the inu-
ence of alcohol, medication or drugs. Your ability
to react quickly, your strength and endurance
may be considerably inhibited in an emergency
situation.
• Never use the jetboard unless feeling complete-
ly healthy. Your ability to react quickly, your
strength and endurance may be considerably
inhibited even when only having a cold.
• Only wear tight-tting clothing without loose-
hanging straps or items. If your hair is shoulder
length or longer, always wear a swimming cap
or hairnet. The jetboard‘s jet-propulsion-
system is very powerful and creates a strong suc-
tion. The jet is equipped with bars to protect as
large an area as possible without affecting the
jetboard’s performance. Yet, there is always a risk
that long-hanging clothing, straps, hair or similar
can get sucked in. Should this occur there is risk
of injury.
