General Safety Information Concerning
Operating the Radinn jetboard
Operating the jetboard is always at your own
risk. Operators do not afford any special rights. It
is a powerful vehicle that must be operated with
respect, care and precaution according to the
safety instructions and the operating manual –
no matter the experience level.
Only use the jetboard in sheltered waters that
is accompanied by at least one other person
equipped with a powered watercraft suited for
rescue and under constant supervision of this
individual. You as a rider always need to have
someone who can provide you with immediate
assistance in case of emergency – no matter the
level of experience.
Never operate the jetboard in strong currents,
strong winds (4 on the Beaufort Scale), bad
weather, narrow water ways (50 meters wider or
less) or other areas where risks are imminent. By
doing so, you put yourself and others at risk and
in danger of severe injury or death.
Never use the jetboard in a thunderstorm.
Get out of the water as quickly as possible if
you catch yourself in a weather situation that
might turn into a thunderstorm. Not doing so
may cause serious injury or death. Always be
prepared for a sudden change in weather and
maintain good oversight of the weather forecast
before you start riding. Pay close attention to
local weather conditions and swimming recom-
mendations and/or restrictions.
Never use the jetboard in heavy swells, measuring
maximum 0,3 min height and occasional waves
of 0,5 m. The jetboard can cause severe injury to
you and others. You may be separated from the
jetboard and it can/may be thrown with great
force onto you, others or objects – especially when
in the surf.
