is hot, let it cool down before charging it. Ensure
that air can circulate freely.
• Careful! The charger and the battery can get hot
when charging. Please allow the battery and
charger to cool down before handling them.
• Before storing the battery, please ensure read-
ing chapter “jetboard Maintenance”. It is very
important that you carefully follow the storing
instructions, especially for long-term storage (e.g.
over the Winter). The battery should always be
stored in room temperature (15-28 °C/
59-82 °F), dry, and well-ventilated area.
• When transporting the battery, always carefully
observe the applicable safety regulations and
the specic regulations of the carrier. Be aware
that rules concerning the shipping of lithiumion
batteries are changed from time to time and
can differ among different countries and carriers.
• NEVER discard the Radinn Battery among nor-
mal household waste or recyclables or in re or
water. Always contact your point of purchase or
local authorities on how to discard your battery.
General Safety Information
Concerning the Radinn Universal
Charger
In addition to the special safety information on the
Radinn Universal Charger, be sure to properly read
and understand the following safety information:
• Never use the Radinn Universal Charger if
the connector, wires or body are torn, broken,
damaged or destroyed. If suspecting that the
charger, cables and/or connectors are broken,
damaged or destroyed immediately contact
Radinn or your local authorized Radinn dealer.
• If you charger is damaged or malfunctioning,
contact Radinn support or an authorized dealer.
Do NOT try to repair or service the Radinn Uni-
versal Charger yourself.
• Never leave the charger connected to the bat-
tery if not actively charging it or optimizing it.
Leaving the battery connected to the charger
(or to the jet board) without any mains supply
will render the battery to become completely
discharged, causing permanent damage to the
battery cells (warranty void).
• Ensure that you only charge the battery in an
area that is cool and dry to avoid overheating
the battery.
• Always make sure that there is no unauthorized
access to the battery during charging to mini-
mize the risk of tampering.
