Adjust volume to save battery

Battery Notes
Dispose of old batteries
promptly and properly. Do not
burn or bury batteries.
Use only fresh batteries
of the required size and
recommended type.
Do not mix batteries of
different size or chemistries.
If you do not plan to use your
powerhorn for a long time,
remove the batteries. Batteries
can leak chemicals that can

Lift latch to open battery
compartment.
Remove the two battery
containers and insert four C
batteries in each container.
Replace and secure latch when
finished.

Lift latch to open battery compartment.
Shoulder Strap
TALK Bar
Press when you speak to project your
voice.
Slide to LOCK so you can speak for a
long time without having to hold the
TALK button.
Microphone
Hold the microphone about 5 inches
away from your mouth when talking.
VOLUME
Rotate VOLUME to adjust the desired
volume level.
SIREN ON/OFF
Turns siren on / off.
TALK Button
Press to talk.
Battery Containers
NOTE
Always set SIREN ON/OFF to OFF
before installing batteries.

Mount microphone on rear for one-handed operation. Press TALK bar to speak.

Using Powerhorn without Microphone Mounted

Use shoulder strap and microphone for extended use. Slide TALK bar to LOCK for continuous speech.

Operational Adjustments

Adjusting Volume

Rotate VOLUME knob on microphone to increase or decrease sound level.

Using Siren

Set SIREN ON/OFF switch to ON to activate siren. WARNING: Do not point at someone when turning on.

Using Feedback Control

Adjust FEEDBACK CONTROL counterclockwise to reduce indoor feedback and volume.

Care and Warranty

Care

Keep powerhorn dry, use in normal temperatures, away from dust and dirt. Clean with damp cloth.

Limited Warranty

90-day warranty against manufacturing defects. Exclusions apply.
