We recommend you test the alarm period-
ically (see “Operation” on Page 9) to be
sure it operates properly. If the volume is
low or the tone sounds different than usu-
al, replace the battery.
Cautions:
• Always remove an old or weak bat-
tery. Batteries can leak chemicals that
can destroy electronic parts.
• Dispose of an old battery promptly
and properly. Do not burn or bury it.
