Remote Keypad
You can connect up to four Safe House Remote Keypads to
your Burglar/Fire Alarm Control Center (RadioShack Cat. No.
49-485) so you can arm, disarm, and program your system from
four locations. Each remote keypad uses digital signals to com-
municate with the control center. This makes the system reli-
able and secure. Refer to the alarm center’s instructions to
operate the keypad.
Choosing a Location
for the Remote Keypad
Follow these guidelines when you choose a location for the re-
mote keypad:
• Select a location that all family members can reach.
• Select a location that is near a main entrance.
• The remote keypad is not weatherproof. Do not install it
where it is exposed to excessive moisture.
• Select a location where the remote keypad is not exposed
to temperatures outside the range of 32° to 122°F.
