USING THE RADIO
To select a channel, press 
CH

   to rapidly change channels. 
The selected channel number appears.
The automatic shut off timer automatically turns 
off the radio if it is idle for 2 hours. Hold down 
CH
 
 while turning on the radio to enable or disable 
the timer. 
On or OF (off) appears briefly.
Then, if the radio is idle for 2 hours, 
OF appears 
steadily. Press any button to operate the radio 
again. 
OF disappears and the last selected chan-
nel appears.
You can cause a tone to sound 
on all radios tuned to the same 
FRS channel (and quiet code, if 
one is used) as your radio. Just 
hold down 
CALL
.
