General
Information
Introduction
The
TCM3
combined
pOypCO,
monitor
is
intended
for
transcutaneous
monitoring
of
pO/pCO,
via
a
heated
electrode
mounted
on
the
skin.
The
measurement
data
are
presented
on
the
LED
display
and
printed
by
the
optional
TCR3/REC
digital
recorder
via the
serial
data
output
socket.
The
monitor
is
fitted
with
a
rechargeable
NiCd
battery.
When
fully
charged,
its
capacity
correspond
to
approximately
three
hours
of
operation.
A
mains
adapter
charges
the
NiCd
battery
and
supplies
the
monitor
simultaneously.
A
discharged
NiCd
battery
is
recharged
in
approximately
16
hours
when
the
monitor
is
switched
on
during
charging.
If
not,
8
hours
is
required
for
a
full
recharge.
The
serial
data
or
analog
outputs
are
functional
only
if
the
monitor
is
powered
from
the
mains.
Tf
an
optional
battery
cassette
is
connected
to
the
monitor,
its
total
capacity
corresponds
to
approximately
11
hours
of
operation.
