The
following
steps
are
carried
out
to
check
the
keys
and display
segments.
Step

Press
the
SET
key.
The
AUX
display and
its
light-bars
will
be
activated.
2.
Press
the
A
key.
The
pO,
display
and
its
light-bars
will
be
activated.
3.
Press
the
CAL
key.
The
pCO,
display
and
its
light-bars
will
be
activated.
4.
Press
the
W
key.
The
audio
alarm
steps
through
all
levels.
These
step
is
carried out
to
check
that
the
DIP
switches
are
read
correctly.
The
procedure
is
valid
for
TCM3
monitors
below
RUN
22
only.
The
DIP
switch
code
is
shown
in
the
pCO,
display
as
a
hexadecimal
number.

observe
that
in-vivo
cal.
is
not
approved
by
the
FDA
in
the
USA:

Monitors
from
RUN
22
onwards
do
not
include
the
DIP
switch:
Instead,
the
functions
are
selected
from
the
front
panel.
These
steps
are
carried
out
to
check
that
the
selection
is
possible.

Action
Switch
between
mmHg
and
kPa
by
the
A
or
W
key,
(the
decimal
points
are
lit
in
both
the
pO,
and
the
pCO,
displays
when
kPa
is
selected)
Switch
between
in-vivo
cal
and
not
in-vivo
cal
by
the
Cal
key.
The
AUX
display
indicates
in-vivo
cal.
Ensure
that
the
monitor
settings
are
correct
before
continuing
with
the
next
step.
