Error Codes

The
error
codes
are
divided
into
two
categories.
“Soft
Errors”
are
displayed
in
the
aux.
display
(flashing)
and
an
acoustic
beep
is
heard.
“Hard
Errors”
are
displayed
in
the
pO./pCO,
displays
accompanied
by
a
continuous
acoustic
alarm
for
five
seconds,
Soft
Errors
are
numbered
from
0
to
5
and
are
caused
by
incorrect
operation
or
defective
accessories,
e.g.
electrodes
or
electrode
membranes.
Hard
Errors
are
numbered
from
10
to
16
and
are
normally
related
to
electronic
disturbances
or
a
defective
Monitor.
However,
Error
10
and
11
may
be
caused
by
a
defective
electrode
(temperature
sensors).
The
table
lists
the
error
codes
as
well
as
the
possible
causes
and

actions.
