More About New and Extended RADWIN 2000 Products
RADWIN 2000 C-series 3.X Products
The new RADWIN 2000 C-series 3.X products are intended for IP and TDM backhaul applica-
tions. Integrated and connectorized products are available. The products are multiple band
with default bands as shown in Table 1-1 below.
These products are broadly compatible with all features set of RADWIN 2000 with the follow-
ing differences:
• The 3.X products support 5, 10 and 20 MHz channel bandwidths.
• Channel minimum step under the band 3.650 - 3.675 GHz is 1 MHz. ACS and Spec-
trum View are supported (Low Resolution Bands).
• Channel minimum step under 3.3 - 3.8 GHz Universal, 3.475 - 3.650 GHz IC and 3.4 -
3.7 GHz ETSI is 250 KHz. ACS and Spectrum View are not supported (High Resolution
Bands).
• All products in this series support both Ethernet and TDM services
• Web Based management
Otherwise, all other features of release 2.5.00 related to RADWIN 2000 C Products are sup-
ported.
RADWIN 2000 C-series BRS Products
In principle, there is no difference between working under BRS and any other FCC regulated
band. You do however, need to know how to choose the correct channel. Further information
about BRS may be found in Chapter 24.
RADWIN 2000 X-series for 3.X Products
The RADWIN 2000 X-series for 3.X products are intended for Access applications. The series
differs from the RADWIN 2000 C-series 3.X products in that it is limited to 20 Mbps aggregate
net throughput.
RADWIN 2000 B-series
The RADWIN 2000 B series is intended to provide a low to intermediate solution for backhaul
and access applications. This new series will have the following main characteristics:
• 50 Mbps aggregate net throughput
• Supports up to 8 E1/ T1
• Supports 5, 10 and 20 MHz Channel bandwidths
• Small form factor ODU with a unique embedded antenna. The ODU is connectorized
for use with an external antenna
Note
40 MHz channel bandwidth is not supported under 3.X GHz products.
