Acarefulstartpaysoff.Startwithasmallfire,sothatthewoodburningstovecanget
accustomedtothehightemperature.Thisgivesthebeststartandanydamageis
avoided.
Beawarethatastrangebutharmlessodourandsmokeconcoctionmayemanatefrom
thesurfaceofthestove,thefirsttimeyoufireup.Thisisbecauset hepaintand
materialsneedtoharden.Theodourdisappearsquickly,butyoushouldcheckthe
ventilationanddraught,ifpossible.Seealso,theIMPORTANTwarningnoticebelow
aboutpersistentfumes.
Duringthisprocessyoumustbecarefulnottotouchthepainteds urfaces,itis
recommendedthatyouregularlyopenandclosethedoortopreventthedoorsealfrom
sticking.
Thestovemayalsoproduce"clickingnoises"d uringheatingandcooling,causedbythe
largetemperaturedifferenceswhichthematerialissubjectedto.
Neveruseanytypeofliquidfuelforkindlingormaintainingthefire.Youcouldbeatrisk
ofexplosion.
Thestovegetsveryhotwheninuse,alwayswearprotectivegloveswhentendingthe
stove.
Ifthestovehasnotbeenusedforawhile,followthestepsasifyouwereusingitforthe
firsttime.
