Why won't the burner light on my Rankam Griddle?
    • J
      Johnny JonesAug 11, 2025
If the burner on your Rankam Griddle won't light, here's what to check: * The LP cylinder may be empty. If so, replace it with a full one. * The electrode tip might not be positioned correctly. It should point toward the gas port opening on the burner, about 1/8” to 1/4” away. Adjust if needed. * The burner might not be seated properly. * The burner may be obstructed. * The cylinder valve might be closed. Check and open it. * The regulator may not be properly seated on the cylinder valve.

How to fix a Rankam GR2298901-GS-00 Griddle burner that does not get hot enough?
    • D
      Dr. Jenna GreenSep 4, 2025
If the burner on your Rankam Griddle isn't getting hot enough, the flow control device in the regulator may have been activated. To reset it, turn off all burners and close the LP tank valve. Disconnect the regulator from the LP tank and wait one minute. Reconnect the regulator to the LP tank, slowly open the LP tank valve fully. Light all burners and check the temperature.
