How to fix a Rapid OP 90 D 35/1 Water Pump that does not draw in?
If your Rapid Water Pump isn't drawing in water, the problem could be due to several reasons. First, the dust trap within the suction line might be clogged, so you should clean it. Second, the suction hose or pipe might be too long, in which case you should shorten it. Finally, there might be air within the suction line. Make sure to ventilate the suction line and pump.
Close air stopcock during pauses/shutdowns to prevent unintentional supply from leaks.

Permanent oil pipe lines require a relief valve and a reflux hose to the storage container.

Type /1: Oil pump with rigid suction pipe for barrel mounting.

Unwrap pump, remove caps, and seal suction pipe thread with Teflon stripe.
Insert pump suction pipe into barrel bunghole, fix with adapter. For stubby version, mount bracket and fix pump.
Screw oil delivery hose to outlet. For pipe line connection, use flexible hose model ÖSV.
Connect to pipe line with relief valve ÜSV 16 and insert reflux hose to storage container.
Set up flexible air connection with block capability. Use maintenance unit with filter, oiler, pressure reducer.
Open the blocking valve on the air line to start operation.
Open oil pistol or meter to start pump and oil supply.
Close oil pistol or meter to stop pump operation.
Do not operate pump in areas of explosion danger or near open fire.
Pump only fresh oil, waste oil, or antifreeze of specific hardly inflammable classes.
Check all parts in contact with medium for leaks/damages before each use.
Always refill the compressed air maintenance unit with appropriate oil.
Pick up and properly dispose of spilled waste oil to prevent soil/sewerage pollution.
Completely empty all equipment parts (hoses, pumps, tanks) and blow out case with air.
Make dangerous parts unusable, e.g., perforate pressure vessels or deform hose reels.
Separate materials like rubber, metals, glass and dispose according to local regulations.
Warranty void if maintenance is insufficient, operation faults occur, or non-adequate parts are used.
