F. 7.14 Check the oil level of the high-pressure water pump (option)
F. 7.14.1 Measuring the oil level:
Take a clean cloth or rag
Remove the oil dipstick (1) from the high-pressure water pump
Clean the dipstick (1) with the cloth or rag
Place the dipstick (1) back in the high-pressure water pump as far as possible
Remove the dipstick (1) from the high-pressure water pump again
Check whether the oil is between the maximum and minimum marks (2)
If the oil level is below the minimum mark, then the oil must be topped up
Place the dipstick (1) back in the high-pressure water pump as far as possible.
F. 7.14.2 Topping up the oil:
First, clean the area surrounding the oil dipstick (1)
Unscrew the oil dipstick (1)
Use a funnel or an oil can to add the required quantity of oil (see ‘Technical specifications’ for the correct type of oil)
Screw the oil dipstick (1) back on.
CAUTION
NEVER FILL THE OIL LEVEL ABOVE THE MAX.LEVEL.REMOVE ANY EXCESS OIL.
CAUTION
CONSIDER THE ENVIRONMENT.CLEAN SPILT OIL IMMEDIATELY.PLACE A CLOTH OR RAG THAT HAS OIL ON IT IN THE CHEMICAL WASTE
CONTAINER.ALSO PLACE OTHER WASTE PRODUCTS THAT HAVE OIL IN THEM (E.G. CANS, PLASTIC BOTTLES, ETC.) IN THE CHEMICAL WASTE
CONTAINER.
