Operation
Command Cut ®
To adjust the command cut speed when using a RG55T-R,
adjust the needle valve (15) below the operator panel. If the
cutter boom lunges while cutting the stump the command
cut is set too slow. If machine stalls or is too aggressive
command cut is set too fast. Additional adjustments can be
made while cutting the stump.
Note: Settings will return to factory default when key
switch is turned to the off position when using SOA
controls. When using the remote be sure to have the
valve turned counterclockwise against the stop for the
remote function to operate.

Before starting the machine the operator needs take a moment
to familiarize themselves with the machine, remote, and dash
to reduce the chance of an accident. Be sure to wear proper
safety attire when operating this machine.
Starting the Machine
After familiarizing yourself with the machine, and all objects are
clear of the working area you are ready to start the machine.
Follow the instructions below for the remote control operation.
• Select the remote position on the Operator Control
Switch
• Turn ignition key to start machine.
• Wait a few moments for the display to boot up, the
display will illuminate green (16).
• On the remote, Pull up on the red Emergency Stop On/
Off Switch (5).
• Red and green lights will illuminate. Wait for RF/SS
light (11) to flash green.
• Once the RF/SS is flashing slowly press the the Start
button (7).
• Verify RF/SS light is flashing fast.
• You are now ready to use your machine.
• To turn machine off simply idle down the engine, turn
key (18) to the off position and press down the On/Off
Emergency Stop Switch on the remote.
For machine controls flip the Operator Control Switch to
machine controls, and use the switches located on the
Swing Out Arm (SOA).
