Here’s a quick guide on how to hard reset or exit “Demo Mode” on Razer keyboards. Find your specific
keyboard model below and follow the corresponding steps:
Razer BlackWidow Chroma
1. Unplug the keyboard.
2. Press and Hold the “Escape” button (Esc) and “Macro 5” button (M5).
3. Plug-in the keyboard to a USB port.
4. Release all keys.
Razer BlackWidow Chroma V2, BlackWidow TE Chroma, and BlackWidow X Chroma
1. Unplug the keyboard.
2. Press and hold the “Escape” button (Esc) and the “Caps Lock” button (Caps).
3. Plug-in the keyboard to a USB port.
4. Release all keys.

1. Unplug the keyboard.
2. Press and hold the “Escape” button (Esc), “Caps Lock” button (Caps), and Space Bar.
