Remove the plastic seat. The controller is located un-
der the seat section (see Figure 1b).
Using the supplied 5mm Allen wrench, remove the
two screws that hold the plastic seat to the frame
(see Figure 1a).

Carefully unplug the 5 wiring connections attached
to the controller. Each connector is a snap-lock type
connection that requires depressing a small tab to
allow the connector to release (see Figure 2). Do
not attempt to disconnect by pulling on the wires!
Using the 5mm Allen wrench, remove and save the
two mounting screws that secure the old controller.
You should now be able to remove the old controller
(see Figure 3). Discard the old controller.

CAUTION: To prevent shock, turn power switch off before installing the new controller.
This kit includes:
NOTE: The supplied adapter (6-pin connector on one
end and 4-pin & 2-pin connectors on the other end) is
only applicable to certain Pocket Rocket products.
If your existing controller has a 6-pin connector, the
replacement controller will require use of the adapter.
The 6-pin connector of the adapter should
be connected to the Pocket Rocket.
The 4-pin & 2-pin connectors of the adapter
should be connected to the new controller.
If your existing controller already has a 4-pin and a
2-pin connection, disregard connecti
ng the supplied
adapter.
