1. Turn all top burners to LOW.
2. Remove all four knobs.
3. With a small flat blade
screwdriver, turn the valve
set screws clockwise to
decrease flame size,

counterclockwise to
increase flame size. Adjust
until the flame is about the
same height as the top of
the burner.
4. Replace the knobs.
5. Check for flame outage by opening and
closing the oven door several times. Ifthe flame
goes ou~ increase the flame size.
~U~ IMESURFACEBURNER PILOTS
(formodels equipped with standing pilots)
1. Raisethe cooktop.
2. Locate the pilot adjustment screw. It can be
accessed through the small hole near the center
of the manifold panel.
3. To adjust use a blad&ype screwdriver with
a shaft diameter of less than 3/16”. Turn pilot
adjustment screw until pilot is 5/16” high.
Do not reduce the flame to less than 5/16” or
pilot outage may occur. A pilot flame burning
higher than recommended may generate soot
(carbon black) on the bottom of your cooktop.
