This guide takes you through the steps to get started:
+ Installing the battery: The RPSA05 earpiece uses
a replaceable battery. We’ve included one in the
package.
+ Using the earpiece: Customize Symphonix to
your preferences and adjust it to your environment.
IMPORTANT: Once you close the battery door,
the RPSA05 is on and ready to use. The earpiece
stays on until the battery runs out of power or
you open the battery door again. If you’re not
going to use the earpiece for a while, open the
battery door to conserve battery power.
Turn over for usage instructions.
Find the battery bag (inside
the storage case). Remove the
battery from the bag.
Peel the
protective tab
off the back of
the battery.
Place the
battery into the
battery door.

Close the
battery door
completely.
NOTE: Normal battery life for the RPSA05 earpiece
is 7 full days of use. Replacement batteries are
available at RCASymphonix.com or through the
Accessories brochure in this package.

Installing the Battery

Open the battery door

Open the battery door on the back of the earpiece.

Find and remove the battery

Find the battery bag and remove the battery from the bag.

Peel the protective tab

Peel the protective tab off the back of the battery.

Place the battery into the door

Place the battery into the battery door.

Close the battery door

Close the battery door completely.

Using the earpiece

Ensure ears are clean

Make sure your ears are clean as wax is a common cause of failure.

Twist the dome for correct side

Twist the dome to the correct side for your ear.

Position earpiece body behind ear

Put the earpiece body behind your ear.

Insert dome gently into ear canal

Insert the dome in your ear gently and wiggle it into the ear canal.

Adjust the volume level

Adjust the volume level by pressing the volume button.

Getting used to wearing the earpiece

Earpiece may feel uncomfortable initially; discomfort should subside.

Hearing new sounds

Symphonix may amplify sounds you are not used to hearing.
