Modifying vehicle ride height may alter handling. Exercise extreme care to prevent loss of control or rollover.
Never operate modified vehicle under influence of alcohol or drugs. Always drive at reduced speeds and wear seat belt.
Consult OE Service Manual for proper disassembly/reassembly and adhere to fastener recommendations.
Consider stress from larger rims/tires; driveline vibrations may occur post-installation.
Securely block vehicle, wear safety glasses, and consider rear alterations first if not using a hoist.
Remove front wheels and lower shock bolt. Use a floor jack to support the differential for easier removal.
Unbolt brake line support bracket from frame and remove upper track bar nut/bolt and sway bar end link bolts.
Lower differential, remove spring, install ReadyLift coil spacer with isolator and insulator, reinstall coil.
Install shock extension onto shock using provided hardware, noting driver/passenger side differences.
Remove OEM track bar bracket and install ReadyLift track bar bracket using factory hardware.
Remove OEM front bump stops and brackets, then install ReadyLift bump stop extension brackets.
Reinstall brake line support brackets; for 2008-10 models, drill a new hole to re-attach.
Remove bolts supporting driveshaft, install carrier bearing spacer using provided hardware.
Remove rear U-bolts and nuts, install ReadyLift 4" rear block, noting arrow orientation, and reinstall U-bolts.
Check all fasteners for proper torque and adequate clearance between rotating, mobile, fixed, and heated members.
Inspect brake hoses for adequate slack and test steering gear for clearance.
Headlight adjustment is recommended; re-torque all fasteners after 500 miles.
For 35" tires: 35x12.50 on a wheel no wider than 9.5" with 0 offset or 5.25" backspacing.
For 37" tires: 37x12.5 on factory wheel or wheel no wider than 8" with +35 offset or 6" backspacing.
For larger tires, pull back inner fender liner and install liner support kit by drilling holes and using provided hardware.
A Certified Alignment Technician experienced with lifted vehicles is recommended.
It is recommended to adjust headlights whenever your vehicle's ride height is altered.
