The FlexBeam® is a red light therapy device designed to mimic the natural power of sunrise and sunset, utilizing safe and clinically proven wavelengths of light to empower the body's healing processes. It is an over-the-counter device that emits energy in the red and near-infrared spectrum of light. The device is intended for use by individuals over 12 years old, with children requiring adult supervision.
Function Description
The FlexBeam® offers three scientifically developed programs, allowing users to choose between red light, infrared light, or a combination of both. These programs are designed to:
- Revive Circulation: Improve blood flow.
- Relieve Pain: Reduce discomfort.
- Improve Performance: Enhance physical capabilities.
- Rejuvenate Skin: Promote skin health and regeneration.
- Reduce Inflammation: Decrease swelling and inflammatory responses.
Each program is a 10-minute cycle, delivering a pre-set combination of wavelengths, frequencies, and power modulations to achieve different degrees of light penetration.
- Program 1: Skin and Surface uses mostly red light, targeting superficial areas.
- Program 2: Muscles and Tissue uses combined red/infrared light to reach depths below the skin.
- Program 3: Deep Tissue and Joints uses powerful infrared light to penetrate deeper into the body.
After completing a cycle, the device emits a sound and pauses, allowing for another program selection. If left unused, it automatically switches off. The device is designed to deliver an optimal dose of light for each program cycle to trigger a positive bodily response. For best results, it can be used once daily, or up to four times a day on different areas of the body. When applying to multiple parts of the body, users should apply two to three or up to four 10-minute cycles on different areas in one day, ensuring not to overuse or apply in the same place twice.

Usage Features
- Charging: The device takes approximately 2 hours to fully charge from empty. It can be used while charging.
- Positioning: The FlexBeam® should be placed directly on the skin, with clothing removed as light does not penetrate fabric. Supplied bands (Duo Bands, Mini Band, Body Band) can be used to secure the device to the body.
- Controls:
- On/Off Button: Hold for 2 seconds to turn on.
- Program Select Button: Cycles through the three programs (1: Skin and Surface, 2: Muscles and Tissue, 3: Deep Tissue and Joints).
- Pause/Resume Button: Allows users to pause a cycle and change presets.
- Battery Level Indicator:
- Low: 3 pulses and flashing light.
- Half: 2 pulses.
- Full: 1 pulse.
- A flashing yellow light for 1 minute indicates a very low battery before automatic shutdown.
- Safety Goggles: Provided for use when escaped light is directly shining into the eyes.
- Portability: The FlexBeam® can be taken on a plane in either carry-on or checked luggage.
- Accessories: Includes a charging unit, mini band, body band, duo bands, safety goggles, and a guide book.
Maintenance Features
- Cleaning: The device should be cleaned when the main power is off and only if soiled. Use a damp cloth with water or isopropyl alcohol wipes. Avoid spraying cleaners directly on the device. Do not use cleaning products containing ethyl alcohol and/or ammonium chloride, as these may cause plastic cracking. Using unapproved cleaning agents will void the manufacturer's warranty.
- Storage: Store the FlexBeam® in its provided case when not in use to prevent dust and debris from getting inside.
- Battery Replacement: The Li-ion rechargeable batteries are not user-changeable and should only be replaced by authorized service personnel. Battery pack replacements are available. Typical battery life is 600+ charging cycles, equating to approximately 9000 applications.
- Device Lifetime: The FlexBeam® has a lifetime of 5 years. Battery replacement may be required after 2.5 years, with a shelf life of approximately 2 years.
- Troubleshooting: If the device appears to be operating incorrectly or indicator lights flash in sequence, turn it off, wait a few minutes, then turn it on again. If the problem persists, contact Recharge Health customer support or your FlexBeam® distributor.
- Warranty: A two-year limited warranty covers defects in workmanship or materials under normal use. Accessories and consumables (carrying cases, travel bags, body straps, goggles) are excluded. The warranty is non-transferable and requires proof of purchase. Opening the housing or tampering with the device will void the manufacturer's warranty.
- Service Information: Recharge Health will provide circuit diagrams, component parts lists, descriptions, and calibration instructions to authorized service personnel upon request for repairs. Isolation from the supply mains is achieved via a removable flexible power cord.
