Troubleshooting Steps
Recon 200 Gen 2 - No Mic Audio
If you are having issues being heard in chat when using your Recon 200 Gen 2 headset, please be
sure to check the following.
1. The Headset Is Charged/Powered On
The Recon 200 Gen 2 headset has a rechargeable battery. If your battery dies, you will still be
able to use the headset for passive game audio, but the microphone may not function without the
power in all configurations. To ensure full functionality, please keep your headset charged.
We generally recommend charging the headset via the console itself, but you can also charge the
headset via a USB Wall Adapter. For more information on charging the headset, please click
here.
Once the headset has been fully charged, move the console switch on the headset itself to the
proper console mode, as shown below:
Once the headset has been powered on and is plugged in, move to Step 2.
2. Mic Is Unmuted/Mic Monitor Is Working
The mic will need to be unmuted to be used. To unmute the mic, flip the mic all the way
forwards, as shown below. You will hear an ascending tone when the mic is unmuted.
