RECON Truck Installation Guide for 264342 Series
Cab Lights
This kit is for trucks that currently do not have any cab light installed on the truck.
First, you will need to measure and mark the roof per the measurements on the second page of this
guide. Once, you have the measurements marked, you will need to drill small pilot holes for each of the
screws on the lights. Then drill a 1/4” hole for the wiring and plug to fit into the roof.
The wire harness will have a positive wire and a ground wire. The positive wire will need to be
connected to any running light positive source on the truck. Most newer Superduty trucks have a 4 pin
connector at the footwell area below the A pillar that has this running light wire(even if the truck has no
OEM cab lights). This is where we recommend making the power connection, but any running light
source will work(and make your new RECON cab lights turn on with the headlights). You can connect
the ground wire directly to the body of truck.
