Operating Instructions
1. Turn the meter on by pressing the POWER button.
2.
Whilepoweringon,thewarning/overalarmwillbeepand
blink simultaneously.
3. Upon start up, hold the /ZERO buttontoperformazeroadjustment.
4. The LCD will now display a measurement value of 0.00
5. Totakeameasurement,placethemeter2"fromthedoorsealsor
the front glass of the microwave.
6. Press the MAXbuttontothedisplaytheMaximumvalueduringthe
measurement process.
7. To turn the meter off, press the POWER button.
Microwave Oven Safety Standards
IntheU.S.,checkwithTheFoodandDrugAdministration(FDA),while
inCanada,checkwithHealthCanadaformicrowaveovensafety
standardswithregardtoleakagerequirements.TheFDA'slastupdate
in2017limitstheamountofmicrowaveleakageto5milliwatts(mW)of
microwaveradiationpersquarecentimeteratapproximately2inches
from the oven surface. This limit is far below the level known to harm
people. Microwave energy also decreases dramatically as you move
away from the source of radiation. Be sure to be up to date in regards
to the current standards and regulations for the appropriate country

Battery Replacement
When the low battery icon appears on the LCD display, you will need to
replace the batteries. Remove the battery cover using a Phillips head
screwdriver,insertanew9Vbatteryandsecurethecover.
