2 OVERVIEW
Engine:
The powerful and radio-interference-suppressed electric engine Speed Machine 540 needs an operation voltage of 7.2 V.
This is supplied by a six-cell Ni-Cd/NiMH Racing Pack (2400 mA/h, not included).
Drive:
The drive comes via the engine pinion directly to the main pinion and via the shaft of the main pinion directly to the shaft of
the rear axle differential and to the prop-shaft to the front axle differential.
The differentials of the front and rear axle for the speed compensation between inner-curve and outer-curve wheel are
completely encapsulated.
Drive shafts, drivers and bevel gears made of metal guarantee high resistance and long service life.
Chassis:
The three-piece monocoque chassis made of plastic ensures stability due to its semi-closed build.
Steering servo, cruise control and receiver are placed in chassis where they are well-protected.
The integrated battery support holds the drive battery in the best possible position, bumpers at the front and at the rear protect
the model during collisions.
Chassis frame:
The model has independent wheel suspensions at double-wishbones.
A servo saver integrated in the servo control lever protects the steering servo from hard impacts.
