COLD TEMPERATURE STORAGE
WATER SYSTEM WINTERIZATION
• Drain the fresh water tank by opening the fresh water tank drain valve. Refer to the “Water and Plumbing System”
chapter for location details.
• When the fresh water tank is completely empty, run the water pump for 1 minute to drain out any water remaining in
the pump.
• Attach the blow out plug to the exterior water connection at the rear of the driver’s side exterior of the motorhome.
• Connect a compressed air line to the blow out plug.
• Open all faucets and blow out all water.
• Disconnect the compressed air line and remove the blow out plug. Release air pressure by opening all faucets.
• Drain the black and grey waste holding tanks.
DE-WINTERIZING THE WATER SYSTEMS
• Refill the fresh water tank with fresh water.
• Turn on the water pump switch.
• Open the water faucet in the bathroom. Run the water until clear water appears and then shut off the faucet.
o DO NOT FLUSH NON-MACERATOR TOILETS
O Do NOT depress the toilet flush pedal if there is air pressure in the system or damage to the toilet flush valve
