Airbag Systems
Disconnect the connector (3) from the front side (chest-level) airbag. Loosen the nuts (4) of the
front (chest-level) side airbag.
Remove:
- the front (chest-level) side airbag - concentrator assembly,
- the front (chest-level) side airbag (5) from the concentrator(6) ,
- the front side (chest-level) airbag.
Refitting
Always replace the nuts for the front (chest-level) side airbag.
Refit:
- The front (chest-level) side airbag in the concentrator,
- The « front (chest-level) side airbag
- Concentrator » assembly.
Torque tighten the front (chest-level) side airbag nuts (8 N.m). Refit the wiring in the
position marked during the removal operation. Connect the front side (chest-level) airbag
connector. Lock the front side (chest-level) airbag connector.
Refit:
- The front seatback cover.
- The front seat.
- Connect the battery Switch on the ignition.
- Check that there are no faults on the instrument panel.
