BATTERY
It does not need to be serviced:
never open cover 1.
Take care when moving
the battery as it contains
sulphuric acid which
must not come into con-
tact with the eyes or skin. If it
does, wash the affected area with
plenty of cold water.
Ensure naked flames, red-hot
objects and sparks do not come
into contact with the battery as
there is a risk of explosion.
Replacing the battery
We advise you to consult your
RENAULT Dealer as this is a
complex procedure.
Because this is a special
battery (there is a vent
pipe to discharge
corrosive and explosive
gases), make sure that it is
replaced with a battery that
enablesthispipetobe
connected. Contact your
RENAULT Dealer.
