SEAT BELTS
The following information applies to both the vehicle's front and rear seat belts.
No adjustments may be made to the original component parts of the restraint system (belts, seats and their
mountings).
For special applications (e.g. fitting child seats) contact your RENAULT Dealer.
Do not use devices which give any slack in the belts (e.g. clothes pegs, clips, etc.): a seat belt which is worn too loosely
risks causing injury in the event of an accident.
Neverweartheshoulderstrapunderthearmorbehindtheback.
Never use the same belt for more than one person and never hold a baby or child on your lap with your seat belt
around them.
The belt should never be twisted.
Seat belts should be replaced after a serious accident. Likewise, replace your seat belts as soon as they show any signs
of wear.
When refitting the rear seats, take care that the seat belts are correctly positioned so that they can be used correctly.
If necessary, readjust the position and tightness of the belt.
Make sure that the tongue is inserted into the appropriate buckle.
