Activating the front passenger
airbag
You should reactivate the airbag as
soon as you remove the child seat
from the front passenger seat, to
ensure the protection of the front
passenger in the event of an impact.
To reactivate the airbags: switch off
the ignition, press and turn lock 4 to
the ON position.
Switch the ignition back on, then
check that warning light 5, AIRBAG
OFF,isnolongerlit.Restraint
equipment in addition to the front
passenger seat belts is activated.
Operating faults
It is forbidden to fit a rear-facing
child seat on the front passenger
seat if the airbag activation/
deactivation system is faulty.
We do not recommend fitting any
other kind of passenger seat device.
Contact your RENAULT Dealer as
soon as possible.
The passenger airbag must
be activated or deactivated
when the vehicle is
stationary.
Indicators and
lighting up at the same time
indicates a system fault
