b) Electrical safety
• Nevertouchoroperatetheproductifyourhandsaremoistorwet.Thismayresult
inafatalelectricshock!
• Neverpouranyliquidsoverelectricaldevicesorplaceobjectslledwithliquidnext
totheproduct.Ifliquidoranobjectdoesentertheinteriorofthedevice,power
downtherespectivesocket(e.g.switchoffthecircuitbreaker),andthenremove
themainsplugfromthemainssocket.Discontinueuseandtaketheproducttoa
specialistrepaircentre.
• Neverusetheproductimmediatelyafterithasbeenbroughtfromacoldroom
intoawarmone.Thecondensationgeneratedmaydestroytheproduct,andthe
poweradaptermaycauseafatalelectricshock.Allowtheproducttoreachroom
temperature before connecting it and putting it to use.This may take several
hours.
• Donottouchthepoweradapterifthereareanysignsofdamage,asthismay
causeafatalelectricshock!Switchoffthemainsvoltagetothesockettowhich
thepoweradapterisconnected(switchoffatthecorrespondingcircuitbreakeror
removethesafetyfuse,andthenswitchoffatthecorrespondingRCDprotective
switch).Youcanthenunplugthepoweradapterfromthemainssocket.Dispose
ofthefaultypoweradapterinanenvironmentallyfriendlymanneranddiscontinue
use.Replaceitwithapoweradapterofthesamedesign.
• Themainsoutletmustbelocatedneartothedeviceandbeeasilyaccessible.
• Alwayspowertheproductusingthepoweradapterprovided.
• Onlyconnectthepower adapter to astandardmainssocket connected tothe
publicgrid.Beforeplugginginthepoweradapter,checkthatthevoltagestatedon

• Placethespeakersonastablesurface.
Operation
• Turnthevolumecontrol(2)onthefrontoftherightspeakeranticlockwiseuntilitclicksinto
placeinthe"Off"position.
• Plugthe3.5mmaudiocableontherightspeakerintothe3.5mmjacksocketonanaudio
device(e.g.PCsoundcard).
• Inserttheconnectoronthepoweradaptertothepower-insocket(4)ontherightspeaker.
• Connectthepoweradaptertoastandardmainssocketorextensionsocket.
• Turnthevolumecontrol(2)clockwisetoturnonthespeakers.TheLEDindicator(3)will
turngreen.
• Adjustthevolumeasdesired(clockwisetoincreasethevolumeoranticlockwisetodecrease
thevolume).
