Particular Cases lor the Positioning
Leave at least 30 cm
(12
inches) of space between the REVOX
scALA Diamond speakers and any nearby wa]1. These speakers
are designed
forvertical operation. A
'lining

speakers
io the hearing seat can have an advantageous acoL-rstic effect as
thereby reflections at the adjoining room wals are r-"duced.

Bi-Wiring
As
you have the possibllity
to use a separate cable for each of
the
two transmission paths, you
may choose the opUrnum cab e
for each freqLrency range and thus avoid the
problem
of losing
or corrupting
sigJlals.
lf
you
want to
give
each
transrniss on
path
its lndividual cable,
you
need to remove the bridges between the binding
posts
thus
gett ng an additional
separate
path for
bass
m
dband and
treb
e
(see
fig. B).
Please ensure that the cable running to the treble driver is of low
jnduct
vlty in order not to damp the highest frequencies.
Use a cab e with adequate cross section
(see
table) for the bass
and/or bass
mid rafge
drivers.
Watch
the
polarity
of the
cab es
used.
Reversed polarity leads to poor tonal balance or even to ack of
bass and unclarlty of the stereo imagery.
Ensure that
the screws
are really tight
n
order to
avoid disturb ng
noises.
