WATER QUALITY
Your water heater is manufactured to suit the water conditions of most New Zealand metropolitan water
supplies. However, there are some known water supplies that can have detrimental effects on the water
heater and its operation and / or life expectancy. If you are unsure of your water chemistry, you can obtain
information from your local water supply authority plumber or merchant.
This water heater is not suitable for connection to bore, spring or rain water unless a water treatment device
is fitted to buffer PH levels to between 6.8-7.6.

6. The water heater must be sized to supply the hot water
demand in accordance with the guidelines in the Rheem
