Why is my Rheem RTG-95DVLN-3 Water Heater water not hot enough?
    • N
      nhansenAug 10, 2025
If your Rheem Water Heater isn't producing hot enough water, the temperature setting may be too low. Try increasing the temperature setting using the remote control. Also, ensure the gas valve is fully opened. If the issue persists, the gas supply pressure might be low; contact your gas utility company or a gas contractor to check the gas meter and piping size. Finally, bleed-over in a hot water fixture could be the cause; in that case, contact a dealer or a qualified service technician.

If the water from your Rheem Water Heater is too hot, the temperature setting might be too high. Try decreasing the temperature using the remote control. Also, make sure the water shut-off valve is completely open. If only a small amount of water has been heated, increase the hot water flow at the faucet to allow more water to flow through the water heater.
