Overview

The Richard Wolf Model E2085.00 is a mini-bipolar electrosurgical generator designed for surgical procedures requiring bipolar current. This device is available in two versions: E2085.00B (black faceplate) and E2085.00 (cream faceplate).

Function Description:

The E2085.00 provides controlled bipolar electrosurgical current for various surgical applications. A key feature is the integrated ammeter, which offers the surgeon a visual indication of the operation's progress. During procedures like tubal ligation, the ammeter typically shows a decrease in current flow as the ligation progresses. The unit also emits an audible tone and illuminates a Bipolar Indicator Light to confirm active functioning.
