Battery Installation
• Check that the lens cover (9) is on and the
power switch (7) is in the OFF position
• Remove the battery compartment cover (8)
• Install 2 “N” Style alkaline batteries into the
battery compartment. Observe the polarity
marked on the compartment body
• Reinstall the battery compartment cover (8)
6. Operation
Attention! Do not turn the scope in daylight
conditions or under illumination of more
than 5 lux (approximate illumination levels
are shown in Table 1).
• Power the scope on. (Switch 7)
• Remove lens cap(s) (9)
• When required, turn the IR Illuminator on,
by turning the same power switch one more
position.
• Obtain a sharp focus by adjusting rings (3)
and (4). (The image must be focused going
into the image tube, and back out to the
eye).
• Replace the lens cap and switch the power
off when finished.
